Christina Milian's sister Danielle tragically loses son Richie Bear

Hours after welcoming her newborn son, Milian took to Instagram to share the sad news that he had passed away. "Yesterday I was blessed with the birth of my Richie Bear. Unfortunately, last night he took his place with the Lord and we said goodbye," she captioned a black and white photo of what appears to be his handprint. "I so appreciate the prayers and support from everyone. He touched my heart and was perfect in so many ways."

In March, Danielle found out her unborn child had omphalocele, a birth defect in which organs form outside the body. The doctors advised her to terminate the pregnancy because there was a 53 percent chance of mortality, but ultimately she and husband Richard Dickerson decided to keep the baby.

Danielle and her husband have one daughter, Naomi Rose, together and she has a son, DJ, from a previous relationship.She added, “No matter how long he has in this world. I could not imagine taking his chance away.”
