This year’s Grammy Awards were more about the performances, than the actual awards given out during the three-and-a-half hour show. Some of the highlights definitely were Rihanna, Kanye West and Sir Paul Mccarthy performing for the first time ever Four Five Seconds. Beyonce‘s tribute to the movie Selma alongside John Legend and Common close the show, Kristen Wiig danced for Sia‘s performance, while Madonna debut her new single.
Sam Smith was the evening’s big winner, returning to the stage every hour, on the hour, to collect each of his four awards. Beck was the surprise of the night, winning not only Best Rock Album but also Album of the Year, for which he beat out Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Pharrell. Beyonce, Miranda Lambert, and Pharrell Williams were also called to the stage to accept awards.
