New music, new money, new power” is the theme of “Empire’s” second season.
The first trailer for season two it shows Jamal (Jussie Smollett) taking charge of the family biz and with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) visiting Lucious (Terrence Howard) behind bars.
Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) is back in the studio, and Jamal is is performing in major outdoor venues with a #FreeLucious banner behind him.
The new season premieres Sept. 23 on Fox.
