Raven-Symone Officially Joins 'The View'

Former child star Raven-Symone will be joining ABC's The View as a full-time co-host it was annouced Wednesday live on the show.

She will be seated alongside alongside moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-hosts Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez.

Raven has guest-hosted the show 37 times since Rosie O'Donnell split from b her wife and quit the syndicated show again. She has already made quite an impression on viewers grabbing headlines for her sometimes controversial statements.

The actress is best-known as the star of the Disney Channel's That's So Raven and her role as Olivia on The Cosby Show. She most recently appeared in ABC’s “Black-ish” and Fox’s “Empire,” and provides a voice for the upcoming animated film “Animal Crackers.”
