After throwing the mic at his DJ, then apologizing Weezy's at it again. This time his target is once again Birdman and Young Thug in a new 13 minute “Next Up” cypher along with Lil Twist, Hood, Euro, Flow, Cory Gunz, and Gudda Gudda.
Weezy caps it off with some explosive bars on which he shouts out Biggie and Tupac, and takes more shots at his Cash Money boss Birdman, who he is suing for $51 million. Over the instrumental of Freeway’s song “What We Do,” Wayne hits back at Baby rapping, “I thank you for my hit man / And tell ‘Pac I’m a big fan / I sing ‘Dear Mama’ to my dear mama, and sing ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ to my daddy, bitch ass.”
YM rapper Flow seems to take a dig at Rich Gang rapper and the latest Birdman protégé, Young Thug. “Young motherfucking Money/These my motherfucking brothers not my fucking hubbies,” he raps referring to Thugger’s questionable lingo.
During the freestyle session, Tunechi also did apologize to his fans for the long wait for new material. “This is for all my fans that been fans / I’m so sorry I’m so f—ing sorry / I’m so sorry for the weight, like Slim Fast,” he raps.
