It's Happening: “ATL 2″, Cast Share First Photos From The Set

Ready for an “ATL” sequel? Because it's happening, almost a decade after the original movie debuted in 2006, and T.I. is pretty excited about it. Tip confirmed the news on Instagram Wednesday (Mar. 4), when he posted a photo of himself, along with co-stars Albert Daniels, Jason Weaver, Jackie Long and director Chris Robinson with the caption, “#ATL2 Get Ready.”

And, of course, there’s got to be New New. The Atlanta rapper posted a separate selfie with the actress, captioned, “Shad&New-New #ATL2 #KeepWatching.”

The original film marked T.I.’s big-screen debut, as it followed a group of teenagers growing up in working class Atlanta, who spent a lot of their time hanging at a local roller rink called Cascades. There is also not much known about the plot or what will exactly happen but we're guessing fans won't have to wait long for the film release.
