During a promo panel for FOX's "Empire," it was revealed that Wesley Snipes was once thought of for the role of Luscious Lyon. Yes, you read that correctly. Daniels originally approached Snipes to play the role of the hip hop mogul. However, Taraji wasn’t having any of it, she revealed that she would only agree to do the show if they snagged Terrence as her co-star.

It was also revealed that Quincy Brown stepson of P. Diddy was all set to play the role of Hakeem but he had to back out due to contract issues. Quincy, who said he now goes only by his first name, said that he backed out of the role due to the network's constraints and publishing restrictions of the music that he would be producing: "Theatrically, there were no complaints," he said. "They didn't really let me know that there was a music side that came with a contract. It just took everybody for a loop because we wanted to negotiate and change a couple of things and they were like, 'nah.'"

After what he recalled was four or five months of back and forth communication, he, with the help of his famous dad, decided to pull the plug on the partnership. While he is no longer involved in the now record-breaking project, there is no love lost: "I think it's a great show [but] it wasn't for me."

What are your thoughts?
